Usually we taste wine, but with opening up new experiences and new series we will merge the two worlds of whiskey and fashion.

Each tasting will be different and sometimes offered again or only once.

We will be trying off the beaten path, rare, and various select whiskey.

The key message associated with West London Boutique is low maintenance, high fashion. Bridging European culture to American style, we merge and create the most effortlessly chic and unique wardrobe for the classic, romantic, and dramatic woman.

Also, a live drawing will be done by Jacq Francois. The live piece will be silently auctioned off for charity and he will have additional artwork available for sale.

Our host Robert Haynes just finished harvest at Siduri, an artisan winery in Sonoma County, California, where he further developed his wine making skills. Haynes is a real wine educator with years of experience. He teaches for beginners and the advanced wine lovers. Throughout his nine years in restaurant, Haynes has helped develop multiple bars throughout the Greater New Orleans and Bay area. His two favorite spirits happen to be whiskey and tequila so we'll be instore for an exciting evening!

Haynes passed the Introductory Court of Masters Sommelier exam and is currently studying for his certification. He is also pursuing his CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine and CSS (Certified Specialist of Spirits) Haynes is currently enrolled into the University of California - Davis' Wine making program and is expected to graduate in 2018.

DESCRIPTION

Aiming to give you a deeper appreciation of classic, prestigious wines from various regions, all while diving glass deep into the mysteries and myths of wine tasting and food pairings.

Tasting Tuesday's 3 Part 101 Series will include:

  • Winemaking & Tasting
  • A Taste of the New World: USA and Southern Hemisphere
  • A Taste of the Old World: Europe and Beyond

Learn about the wine making process, ordering, bottle opening and everyone's favorite part - TASTING of course! Your pallet will be privy to 5 different wine selections of unique and intense flavors from around the world, along with the proper food selection for each.

 

We have now launched a 101 series that is perfect for couples and singles alike. Tasting Tuesdays is also a networking opportunity, which houses professionals from all walks of like. As you are checked in, you will receive sparkling wine and we highly encourage guests to converse amongst each other.

For this tasting, we will try 5 different types of wine from 5 different countries!

To pair with the wine for the evening, we will have a fruit and cheese display.

Aiming to give you a deeper appreciation of classic, prestigious wines from various regions, all while diving glass deep into the mysteries and myths of wine tasting and food pairing.

Tasting Tuesday's 3 Part Series will include:

  • Wine making & Tasting 101
  • A Taste of the New World: USA and Southern Hemisphere
  • A Taste of the Old World: Europe and Beyond

Learn about the wine making process, ordering, bottle opening and everyone's favorite part - TASTING of course! Your pallet will be privy to 6 different wine selections of unique and intense flavors from around the world, along with the proper food selection for each.

For this tasting, we will try 3 types of wine from France and 3 types of wine from Italy. France and Italy are home to some of the greatest wine around the world! This is simply a tribute to the 100s of years of spectacular vintages where we will highlight some hidden gems of each country. In later tastings, we will focus on two specific regions in different countries.

Here are our packages:

Cru ($30) - includes admission to a 6 glass wine tasting, complementary sparkling wine, three chances to wine a bottle of wine, and food selections will be provided.

Grand Cru ($45) - includes admission to a 6 glass wine tasting, complementary sparkling wine, a bottle of wine, three chances to wine an additional bottle of wine, a Drink Lab wine glass, and food selections will be provided.
